He 111V-32

The He 111V32 was a prototype aircraft used for flight tests in early 1944, which was created by modifying an He 111H-6. This variant featured **DB 601U turbo-supercharged engines** and **annular radiators**, which provided it with a distinctive new appearance. The engines also included **TK 9 AC turbo-superchargers**. However, the test results for the He 111V32 were ultimately **unsatisfactory**, contributing to the cancellation of the planned He 111Z. The development of these turbo-superchargers by Hirth-Motorenwerke, a Heinkel subsidiary, was noted as a “long tragedy”.
